Internet Radio Dropouts

Hello

I am trying to stream from h**p://www.sky.fm/wma/hit70s.asx (Cannot post a URL as its my first post)

When I enable the browser proxy it drops the stream for 1 sec over various time spans, 10 sec or many minutes inbetween silent moments. Without the proxy it works seemlessly has done for years. Also seems to have alot more trouble connecting thru my squeeze server to internet radio. Connecting to..........

Going thru Wingate 6.5.2 on W2K8 x64 server using 2 ISP's very simple home network. Things tried were purging the cache and setting the 2 rechecks to zero.

Bit of a novice to Wingate.

do you have any plugins installed in WinGate, e.g. Kaspersky AntiVirus for WinGate or PureSight for WinGate?

when the player is playing, what shows up in GateKeeper's activity screen?

I'm wondering if the player reverts to some different mechanism to play when going through a proxy. e.g. many players revert to HTTP to play, which may not perform as well as RTSP or their native streaming media protocols.
