i have 4 computers connected via wired hub, on that hub i also have my adsl modem attach so that all computers can use internet. Now the main thing, my computer "A" has two ethernet adapters, one for the above mentioned wired lan and the other adapter is connected to a wireless access point which is used for business purposes and does not have internet connection. Now i want to share internet on that wireless access point without changing much settings on my access point because it is used to connect specific devices with specific settings.
i dont want other lan users to see / use my wireless access point.... my adsl routers ip is 192.168.1.1 and its connected to the lan hub and since i dont want others to use my wireless router so its connected to computer "A", the wireless access points (which is D-links dwl 2100ap) ip is 192.168.0.50. On 192.168.1.1 DHCP is enables and on 192.168.0.50 DHCP is disables coz the wireless devices that are connected to it use there own ip for certain operations.
on computer "A" i see this ipconfig
Ethernet adapter local area connection
ip address 192.168.1.14
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.1
(its obvious its for my lan/internet)
ethernet adapter WIFI
ip address 192.168.0.51
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.0.50
i cant enable windows internet sharing, it will change the ip of the computer, and i cant do that....
