Guset user problem

Dear all
Recently i have dowloaded wingate and activated for 30 days trial. i gave activated ban list and avrything is working fine but i am not able to see any username. In authotication tab only user :- Gust is comming . I want to user name or atleast ip address shoud come . Is ther any thing i am doing wrong ? please help me aout guys. I am using wingate ver 6.64 and all system are in work group ( no domain active dir).

Check system message those guest coming with ip? did you set your client ip or name in your users tab? how many user connect to your wg6?

i have entered few user in user account section and presently 5 users are connected from wingate.

How about your Assumed User? did you add your client in Assumed User tab?

I have added user name as per their ip address in assumed user list. Thanx now it’s working i can see users name instead of "guest user” .
But i am facing another problem. I have restricted some sites using ben list. That’s worked very well but i wanted to give unrestricted rights to a specific
User by using basic authentication method, wingate start asking User name password to all user. And i had to stop that services. I read previous solution with same problem but i could not understand. Please tell me step by step guide.

Hi Walter,

At services WWW Proxy 80 -> policies -> add recipient -> Default rights are ignored -> properties recipient -> Advanced -> Specify which request has rights for > Add filter -> Add Criterion -> your whitelist url (facebook.com)

i think system policies can, but i never try before.. not very sure too.

I followed given steps but its not working i forgot to tell you that i am not in domain , using workgroup , so would that soluation work only with domain environment. Thanx for your help.
