Hi,
I use Wingate 5.0.1. - all work allright, but the last week I m starting with this problem:

suddenly Wingate disconnect, when I want to login in the Gatekeeper to see what is wrong, i Have the netx message:

"There was a problem connecting to the server. No data was received from the server during authentication. Check the spelling of your user name "

and then I cant login in the Gatekeeper !!!! I have to restar my server to fix this problem.........because if I try to use the "Stop Engine" option in the system try, the engine never stop...................

Somebody can help me ???

Paulo,

Try this:

- Stop the service right after reboot.
- Delete History.cdx & History.dbf from the WinGate directory
- Start WinGate engine

Ok, thank Larry.......I'll take your advice if I have the problem again............maybe the monday............today and tomorrow is day off.-
