Network connection

i'am a new user...i am learning to use wingate(7). on my wingate >network connection pannel wingate detect only my on board LAN card. i have another pc directly connected to it. but doest not list any adapter. can anyone plz tell me why?

how is this other PC connected? Cross-over cable etc?

Do any other connections show in your windows network settings?

its a corssover...actually the connection is fine(can even share files).

i,am using a crossover calble..i works fine(ping,file sharing.etc..). but on wingate Network Connection pannel only one (ie..my on board LAN adapter) is display. and when i connect internet via usb modem,it automatically show on the Network Connection pannel under my LAN adapter. but my other LAN adapter(which is directly connected) does not show at all.
i did not configure any services or setting on WinGate. Please help

yes..my LAN it is listed is Windows network connection

YES...Plus i'm using a Trial version.

yes i did show up. that's why i am able to share files....!!!!!!!!
