Problem to delete Notifications

Postby sigih. » Aug 14 12 6:47 am

Hello !

I have a problem with the notifications on Wingate 7.2.6.
My log in Notifications shows this:
Sigi-0000.png
Sigi-0000.png (6.63 KiB) Viewed 5003 times

But where can I delete this ?
The status is active and Messages came from the default plan with count 3.

My Schedule shows:
Sigi-0001.png
Sigi-0001.png (4.5 KiB) Viewed 5003 times

I got the notification on 8.th of august ...
I wanna delete the messages cause on every remote connection session the wingate symbol will get red.
And the info is out of date.
Has anyone an idea to fix this ?

TNX and regards

You should be able to right click and Acknowledge or Close.

Hello labull !

Rightclicking opens noting in LOG or on the upper area only SETTINGS ... not less and not more ...

Hi Sigih.

This could actually be a permissions issue. If you're not logged into WinGate Management under an administrator account you might not have access to close or acknowledge notifications. To check if it is a permissions issue, open the permissions panel, find "Notifications" on the right and open up the properties. Check that the "Perform Actions" permission is allowed at the parent and/or child settings.

Aaron

Hi Sigih, the settings all look OK to me. I did notice that it looks like you have some partial localisation happening there. Not that it should affect these settings, but can you turn off any translation and test it that way.

Hallo again !

Strange thing ...
I updated my server 2008R2 this night - 9 Microsoft Updates this month ...
and after rebooting the notification problems are gone ... restarting wingate7 didn't fix it - only restating the server.
The notifications are gone and all seems to be OK.

@ Aaron:
Both setting in language options are/were disabled.
