Hi Sid
By default all UDP traffic broadcasts will be shown up in GateKeeper.
If a machine has high amounts of UDP broadcast over NAT (such as DNS redirects for example), it can cause in some cases excessive memory usage by the machine.
This option when checked, merely limits the UDP traffic broadcast activity to show broadcasts under port 1024 that are either being transparently redirected or happen for a length at least 20 seconds, and occurred at least 10 seconds ago. (This is why it is checked by default so that the above problem has no chance of occurring)
By unselecting this option all UDP traffic regardless of port or activity length of activity will be shown.
This roughly the same explanation as given in the WinGate helpfile.
Hope this helps
Regards
Erwin
