Hello,

I recently installed Linux on one of my computers, so I enabled WinGate ENS (NAT) so I could have internet acces on linux too.....well, It kinda worked, since I can acces http sites, however, it isn't working when I try to connect to a ftp site or telnet to somewhere.....

In windows it works perfectly (WGIC & ENS)

Anyne have any idea how to fix this?

Thx

When you try and telnet (or ftp) from the Linux machine out through WinGate, does the connection show up in GateKeeper's activity screen? Can you connect to WinGate's ftp proxy, for example, and then continue to connect on out?

Regards

Yes the connection attemt does show up on Gatekeeper's log, it is exactly through there that I think I may have found the problem, since for some resason the ftp and telet requests are comming with a ".cptec.inpe.br" after the address.....this is probably some configuration on the linux machine, wich has most certanly been configured to run inside "cptec.inpe.br's"local network....ïll look into this, thanks :)
