Wingate...Java...?

Hi world!

when i'm browsing this address using wingate(broadband wireless) it's didn't load page correctly with java applet, i think. but without wingate( directly with dial up connection) its prompt a correct page to enter domain name, password.....

Note: first i think this is with Java Virtual Machine. So i installed JVM, it still not work throughout wingate, but it's OK without wingate.
where should i make some additional configuration to make this problem solved?

Anyone experienced with this, I'm appriciate your comments.

How are you connecting from the client machine out through WinGate? Directly to the Proxy? I tried it here and the page loaded up correctly asking for domain name, licence number, password etc. But that section of the screen is loaded via a connection on port 5999, thus wont work with direct proxy connections. If you use the NAT or even the WGIC, then this connection is established correctly, and you should be able to log in.

Yes, i connect it from client directly to the proxy throughout wingate.
I use NAT in Extended Networking. but whenever I tick WGIC in WWW service, then I cannot browse internet anymore.
Do i need additional configuration in client?
What other related services should i configure?
what port 5999 for?

in SOCKS sevice property>>socks advanced tab
I tick Refer HTTP request to chaching HTTP server
I tick Allow caching of referred HTTP requests
I choose Use server's access policy option
in WWW service property>>connection
I still choose Directly

Is it correct?

Anyone familar with this?

Wingate server was installed in Windows NT 4.0 Server. I use wireless broadband Internet Access.

Whenever I try to browse from NT server without go though Wingate WWW service It not work . And I think this may cause from my old version of internet explorer in Windows NT.

Because,When I use connection directly to the computer with Windows XP from the public Internet box, It OK. (directly from windows XP without Wingate)

The same directly for the two. One work, one not work.

So, Could all of you tell me the problem with my server browser or Wingate configuration ?

I'm appriciate with all your comment. This is very urgent for my responsibility and may harm my job.

OK i'm a little confused about your set up. So to clarify, your WinGate machine is NT4, and your client machine on your LAN is XP? So are you sayin gthat when you ry and use IE on the NT (WG server) machine going directly out your internet connection and NOT through WinGate that you can't get http://hostingsupport.com/chat_unix.htm to work properly?

If on a client machine behind WinGate you will need the NAT or WGIC active as that site (http://hostingsupport.com/chat_unix.htm) makes a connection out on port 5999, probably to set up some secure connection.

I already use NAT. Yes, really my client machine run Windows XP and with proxy
192.168.0.57 with port 80 (bounded IP for www service in Wingate server).

So, do I need change in Client machine?
What port 5999 for?

Everything is OK now with this problem. By configure alittle bit with DNS in Wingate, then configure client gateway and DNS to Wingate server.
