Problems after Wingate re-install

I have just had to re-install Wingate after a corruption problem. I now appear to have lost both SMTP and POP3 options from the configuration. I tried a further reinstall using the custom option, but it did not give me the option to install either. Can anyone help.

Are you looking for the SMTP and POP3 servers, rather than the Proxy Services ? Did you check "Use WG Mail" when you installed ?

I am not sure I even had an option to select WG Mail. I am tryng to set up the clients to use wingate through the proxy option in MS Outlook

Which version of WinGate are you using ?

If you do not have a SMTP / POP3 proxy, you can right click on the Services menu and create them from there (You don't need the installer for that)

I am not at the location of the Server at the moment, but I think the version is 5.2.2, which I think is the latest. I will try what you suggest later today. Thanks.

Hello Pascal,
I carried out a further reinstall last night but still did not get the proxy and smtp options. For some reason however, the client e-mail has started working. Not sure exactly what I did, but I am pleased all is now working. Thanks very much for your time and patience.
