WinGate currently has not been tested to accept MMS (Mobile Multimedia streams) as from what I have seen from a brief overview of MMS these can vary quite widely from vendor to vendor.

However if the documentation with your MMS service specifies which Port and Protocol (TCP or Udp) it uses, then you could try to create a TCP or UDP mapping on this port in the WinGate Services, or thru the ENS port security tab in Gatekeeper, to the PC behind WinGate that is destined to receive or send the MMS. (Consult the WInGate helpfile on creating this mapping)

Obviously this is only a suggestion to test to see if it works, as we have not tested MMS in this capacity, and you will have to consult the MMS documentation to ensure you have the correct TCP/IP specs to try.

Hope this helps and let us know how you get on

Regards

MMS proxies are usually used with computers and not with Mobile devices.

Windows media audio Usually goes on MMS protocol.
The settings for this stream are:
1755 TCP/UDP

I could not successfully configure WinGate (I need to use MMS proxy and I've downloaded the trial before buying the full version)
I tried with RTSP changing port (544 to 1755)
and with port forwarding.

None of them works.

Actually I use CCProxy, the demo version allows max 3 users and is unlimited in time, but I don't like it because it's not as powerful as WinGate..however..it works!! :)

Let me know if there's a way to configure WinGate, Thanks.

It seems CCProxy uses the SOCKS port to forward MMS streams.
(or at least, MMS proxy is enabled when you enable the SOCKS service in CCProxy)

However WinGate's SOCKS service doesn't work for MMS streams.
Probably CCProxy includes something more (along with SOCKS protocol) in the SOCKS service.

Any ideas on how to configure WinGate?
With WinGate my Windows Media Player is mute (when I try to listen live radio) :(

Thanks in advance.
