Wingate 8 : Global logs

Postby sawi » Aug 01 13 2:01 pm

Hi Wingate Team

Question related to Global logs for WWW proxy server, log types is diagnostic.

Before this I set WWW proxy log level as Info because I want to logs if client connection being reject in policy.

In Wingate 8, if I set WWW proxy diagnostic log level to Info, it will show too many logs.

Any option if I want to setting to show log for connection being reject in policy?

Thanks :)

Hi

we moved request and traffic up to info level so you don't need to log at debug any more to get these details. Is this what you mean about logging too much now?

The policy you're talking about is that flow-chart policy? If so, you can already log sc-status and we added sc-comment in WinGate 8. This comment is able to be set by you in policy (the title).

Then it will show up in usage logging.

Regards
