How Upgrade the Wingate Ver 6 To Ver 8?

i already renew my licensed just now.. now my old Wingate version is ver6.63. how upgrade to ver8.0.5? need to download and reinstall? or can automatically upgrade?? please help :(

Hi

you can install WinGate 8 over the top of WinGate 6, and it will retain most settings. It will not retain any policy settings or cache settings however, as the new system is not compatible.

It would probably be prudent to test out WinGate 8 on another computer first before going to production, so you can familiarise yourself with it, it's quite different in many ways to WinGate 6.
