Wingate Engine Monitor Icon is missing from Systray

Postby chris@quantronix.com » Aug 12 14 4:18 am

I just updated to the latest version, and now my Wingate Engine Monitor icon does not appear in the systray, even if I click the Wingate ENgine Monitor from the pgrms menu.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi Chris

this may seem a dumb question, but it's the engine monitor you're talking about rather than the old VPN monitor? In WinGate 6 we had 2 tray icons, one for VPN and one for WinGate - the VPN one allowed you to connect to a VPN and showed status, but we deprecated it in WinGate 7.

We may need to get remote access to your computer to see what's causing the issue otherwise.

regards

Yes it is the engine monitor - it was there with the previous 8.X version and is not there since I updated. let's talk off the forum - I have a trouble ticket for this.

Thanks
