License upgrade from 6 to 12 users

Hello.
We are managing a small network with 10 machines but recently with OS upgrades we are running out of licenses frequently. To upgrade our 6 user environment to 12 users, do we purchase another 6 user license to make it 12 or do we need to purchase a 12 pack? Thank you for the support!

you can upgrade for the difference in the cost of the licenses, so that will be cheaper than a new 6 user license (which is another option).
