Email server / SMTP delivery and Outlook

Hi,

I have scoured the forums and not quite found the exact answer to my dilemma.
I have set up a static IP and am receiving my email via SMTP delivery so that I can use the WINGATE email server.
I am unable to POP the mail once it has arrived. All my mail (other than internal mail) seems to go straight into the holding folder and doesn't get copied accross to the POP3 folder of the account I wish to view.
I can manually copy the mails accross and then use outlook to view them but that is all. Any ideas gratefully received.

Hi,

Have you set the user up with a mailbox and selected this user has a mailbox on this server?
