Postby paulocaceres » Mar 16 04 9:10 am

My IP appears in the DSBL (antispam lists). Some email that I send, can delivered......I have a Open relay proxy ???

I contact my ISP, but he say that he haven't a Open relay or open Proxy.
He say that the problem is my Wingate. How I do to know if my Wingate proxy is a Open relay ???. I have changed the ALLOW RELAY option in
SYSTEM -> EMAIL, but Wingate Show me a warning, and then when I cant send email, a Smtp error o same.............

Somebody can say me, How I configure the Wingate for not have a Open relay ???
Wingate.

The default install of WinGate and it's mail server, will make all your bindings secure so that you wont be able to be an open relay. When did your IP first get listed on DSBL? How are you using WinGate mail? Is it hosting all your mail? What Aliases do you have set up? Have you changed many / any of the default settings under the 'Recieving' or 'Delivery' tab?
