Internet drops

Can definitely confirm that with latest version of Wingate VPN, connection to the internet drops every few hours. I disabled VPN and using network monitoring tools, connection to the internet stays stable.

Turning on VPN again, same problem occurs. Such a shame for such a great product.

Hi there

How do you mean connection drops? Do you mean that while you have VPN connections running other users cant access the Internet normally through WinGate?

Or do you mean the VPN connection drops (and inturn dissconnects frm the Internet)?

What type of connection are you using dialup,DSL etc?

Hi,

After a few hours, the pc hosting vpn connections can no longer access the internet and therefore all other pcs connecting via Wingate cannot either. The host can still ping the cable modem and the gateway but all internet access is disabled. This happens even after disabling totally the firewall, which initially made the problem so much worse.

I have found no other solution than to disable Wingate unfortunately.
