Postby ricky » Mar 29 04 11:23 am

Hello,

Wingate runs on windows 2003 server.

All clients in the LAN are authenticated with WGIC.

I have a DSL connection to Internet with a fixed public IP.

I want to have a remote connections with pcanywhere and with Terminal server (with VPN) to these server.

The ports I need are all open in the router and in the wingate, in the firewall and like a service.

To these wingate server I only connect to MDaemon with Wordclient on port 3000. No more connections are accepted.

Whap happends ?

Can I help me, please ?

Hi Ricky

Is the terminal Server, PC anywhere located on a machine behind WinGate?

If you have people trying to access these from the Internet then you will not only have to configure the approriate hole in the firewall, but you will have to set the traffic through this hole to be redirected to the server/machine behind WinGate that is running PC anywhere or Term Server.

You can do this when configuring the port opening in the firewall under the "port security" tab in ENS, set the "redirect packet" option to the IP of the machine that is running TERM Serv or PC Anywhere.

Regards
