I can still not browse!!

Postby Anila2 » Mar 31 04 1:27 am

I posted already several times the same problem - but so far nobody could help me. I sent two faxes to QBik - and got no reply.

Here again the problem:

Server = Windows 2000
IP = 192.168.22.1

Client = Windows XP

Both machines can dial into the internet (Windows 2000 has a DSL connection - no router, Windows XP dials via modem). Both machines can ping each other. I lowered the MTU to 1350, following a tipp from Jono.

I can make a connection, I can see the server, but can not browse.

Wingate has been installed with the default configuration.

I purchased Wingate VPN - because I want to use it. I would be glad, if the QBik-team would contact me again.

Best regards

Hi Cristalina,

I have now sent you two emails, one from the support system and the other from my email address, have you received either of them? I also replied to the support ticket that you submitted on the 13th of March, did you receive my reply then?

Regards,

Matt

Now it works

Hi Jono,

it was a probably very stupid error on my site: I had filesharing active for the local LAN, but not for the DSL connection.

Now this works - but I have different problems with my college! See above.

Thank you all for your support,
Anila
