No place to import the VPN info

Why is it that when I loaded the Wingate VPN client on XP Pro I don't see any VPN services under the system tab when GATEKEEPER is started?

As a result I can't finish setting it up!

Are you using WinGate with a VPN license or WinGate VPN ? Is this with a trial license ? (And if yes, have you trialed this product before)

Also, are you logging in to GateKeeper as a user with sufficient rights to edit this ?

The last thing to check would be, if you double-click the exported file, does it open GateKeeper and let you edit the settings then ?

Yes, the it was the license key!

I can now connect to the VPN through the local network.

It will not work from home. Both DSL and Dial UP does not work. I can join the VPN but no computer is accessible . All the PCs on the network & the VPN server itself show up as not accessible.

Do you have more than one interface in your local machine at home ? It is possible, with no network cards, but only the DSL / modem, that Microsoft Windows Networking is not started.

Can you ping any machine behind the Office Server ? (Internal IPs)

No, can't ping any part of the VPN network from home.

The home network is working. 4 XP Pro computers & 2 shared printers. All of which work and can see each other and get on the internet via a LINKSYS router.

I have tried the VPN via a dialup and that does not work as well.

I know that I am getting through to the Wingate VPN server - because I can see all the computers on the Network. Even one that was just added. However, they all show up as not accessible - greyed out. Even the server.

Is your server behind NAT / router ? If that's the case, you might need to forward 809 TCP and UDP to it.

There is a router - but all ports are open. None are blocked.
