Need Advice!!!

Postby xeo196 » Apr 08 04 2:25 am

Hi everybody, I need help again.

I installed VPN host on the server and VPN join on my home pc. Everything went correctly according to plan.
I am able to connect and see all the computers in the office.
However, I can't browse any of them. I can't even browse my own office pc.

My office server is (win 2K), IP: 192.168.1.2
GW: 192.168.1.1 (Linksys Router)
The server get to internet via comcast line.

My home pc is (win xp pro), IP: 192.168.1.101
GW: 192.168.1.1 (Linksys Router)
My pc also get to internet via comcast line.

Is it because of the IP address? I know that the IP have to be in different segment for the server to forward the VPN request. But those address is gave out by the linksys router by default.

Can't anybody give me some troubleshooting advices. It is really appreciated.

Best Regard!

Andy.

Are the remote machines showing as accessible? If so what errors are you getting.

Thanks Jono for caring.

I was able to get it done last thursday.
I disable the NetBiso over TCP and shut down the "Server" service for security reason and didn't remember to turn them back on.

Best Regard!!!
