How to configure the wingate vpn behind the firewall?

Postby johnza » Jun 06 04 9:02 pm

When I want to visit the website on the VPN server which is behind the firewall from the remote Client,it display"web site found waiting for reply" but failed at last.
When the VPN server dialed directly(without firewall),I can visit the Website on the vpn server.
I just know that it need set port 809 forwarding on the firewall.Dos it has another condition?

You have to just permit both TCP and UDP 809. I have tested with Server behind a PIX firewall and Client behind a Cisco 803 router (PAT). It works fine through both translations.

May be an MTU problem go here http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp and download the latest version, in the bottom right in the MTU (maximum transmission unit) box enter 1350. Save reboot and try again
