Workgroup Name

Postby javila » Jun 08 04 9:21 am

Hi, I have installed succesfully my vpn between my 2 offices, cool, really useful combination of internet and LAN captabilities.
Now, i got 2 differents workgroups and 2 differents IP networks 192... and 176... one calle viscarra and another called suc_irala
I was trying to mix under the same IP the two networks with no success and recently i downloaded a vpn manual from qbik teling that cant be done... well I dont know if I can do the same but with the workgroups names... i mean change the suc_irala to viscarra and let all the pcs in the two offices browse only one network?
Regards.

Simple answer is yes, i have 1 server with 6 on the lan and several other clients in various offices all using the same workgroup name BUT they are all on different subnets eg

office 1 is in the range 192.168.21.x
office 2 is in the range 192.168.22.x

Etc etc etc
