Hi,

Firstly we would suggest that you upgrade to version 5.2.3, it's a free upgrade and this version fixes some bugs that were in 5.0.10.

What are you trying to configure in the firewall? If you open the Extended Networking menu and select the port security tab you can open and close ports and redirect traffic to other machines.

Regards,

Hi,

I am also having problems configuring the firewall.
Where is the Extended Networking menu? I cannot find it anywhere but can see all the information on it in the help menu and know it is what I am looking for.
I am running 5.2.3

Cheer,

I have just 5.2.3 version installed

I have upgrade to version 5.2.3 with ENS. How can I configure the firewall to close the RPC port for example? How can I configure the firewall to close any port for secure my internal net?

Thanks

Hi all,

My own office I have a rough and ready set of firewall rules that WILL not suit all instances.

Extended networking > Custom > Port Security > TCP & UDP rule DENY all ports 1~65536 from Internet computers.

For Lan computers to the Internet I have a set of custom and some default rules for redirection. The custom blocked rules are few and deny access for common trojan ports to the internet.

Other than that the "High denies all connections from the internet" option would probably similar to my custom ideas.

That's about it, easy to configure, 'runs right out of the box' has been my experience.

Hope this helps.

Nev.
