Postby bheadlim » Jun 09 04 11:56 am

i install the wingate dailup monitor and sometime it will not auto dail when i need to access the wingate service. I try to double click the wgdm.exe in my windows/system32 but no respond. Anyone know how could i manually dail to wingate server? Thanks a lot.

Hi there

How do you mean you have installed the WinGate Dial up monitor?
This is usually installed as a file (Wgdm.exe) when you install the WinGate Internet Client (WGIC) on a client machine behind WinGate.

In the Dialer configuration in GateKeeper on the WinGate server is lists dialup connections WinGate has found on the server triggered when clients make requests to the Internet.

Make sure you have configured the WGIC on the client machine to use the WinGate Server for Internet access.

On the WinGate server go into GateKeeper and under the dialer config make sure the dialup profiles have been enabled to be used by WinGate.
This should ensure that any Internet requests made by the client will trigger the dialer in WinGate.
