OPTION RECONNECT IS CHECKED BUT WE NEED RECONNECT MANUALLY

WE USE WINGATE VPN FOR A LOCAL GATHEWAY
ON OTHER SITE IT WORKS GOOD
ON ONE OF WHEN WINGATE IS UNCONNECT FROM THE VPN SERVER BY PROBLEM INTO INTERNET CONNECTION, WE ABSOLUTLY NEED TO OPEN GATEKEEPER AND CHOOSE JOIN TO THE VPN SERVER TO REOPEN THE NODE BETWEEN. THE OPTION RECONNECT IS CHECKED BUT DO NOT WORK ALONE...

DO YOU HAVE A SOLUTION TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM...

How is the VPN set to connect ? If must be set to automatic for the connection to be re-established. Also, if the remote node disconnects you, it will not reconned. (If the other node right-clicks and selects "Disconnect" to take you off the VPN)

We have had extensive testing of this, and have found no problems. If you have "reconnect" selected, even if you have manual connection specified, then it should reconnect in any case except if the administrator of the server disconnects the client.

In that case, there would be a system log message saying that the remote administrator had disconnected you.
