Configuring Outlook Express through Wingate Gatekeeper

My office uses Wingate GateKeeper Proxy for staff internet. The POP3 mail is configured in the proxy and the settings in the client computers point to the default gateway IP address. However recently there is difficulty in downloading emails into outlook express. any help will be appreciated.

What problem are you seeing downloading mail? Is Outlook express able to connect to the mail server?

Outolook Express can´t connect to the server, do I need to configure something? thanks.
