Problems with WGIC

Postby ramarsh01 » Nov 22 05 5:50 pm

With in the past few days I need to click the reset client button on the WGIC applet in order to surf the WEB. The computer is running Windows XP Service Pack 2. Everything was running just fine but something happened to the PC and now i have to reset the client everyday.

What should i look for in order to resolve this issue. I also noticed when i run Hijack this i get this message

Broken internet layer LSP provider 'wglsp.dll'

is this normal? the internet still works.

Confirm the WGIC problem exists

Have the similar problem. In new version (6.0.1) it is enough to press OK button instead of "Reset". Please fix this bug or advise how we can do this ourselve.

Some of my clients never initiate WGIC when I open IE. Most of my workstations have a pop-up dialog box showing the connection of WGIC but a couple do not bring it up and do not have a connection. No firewalls,,, nothing different that I know of... have uninstalled and reinstalled.

Let's check WGIC functionality in a new version 6.1.1 and hope the problem has been solved. Otherwise propose to continue this branch and find a solution.
