we don't allow new users to post URLs.

This is because 99.999999 of those are just spammers.

What a hell is a URL's posting? I had just copy and past a text file where I explain a serious problem. I'using this normal forum. Why I am rejected as a spammer ??

Thanks

Hi Jose,

If your post contained a URL in it, then it would have been blocked.

We have had a big problem with bots that automatically sign up for the forum and make a lot of spam threads. These posts "always" have a URL in them. By enforcing this rule, we managed to stop spammers from posting on our forum. We are not identifying you personally as a spammer.

What ever the rules are for producing this error they need some tweeking...

I've been trying to post a response and keep getting this error.. I've got no http's no .com .net .org I've changed all the 192.168.0.1's and 127.0.0.1's I can't figure out what in the world is producing the error..

Suggestions?

TIA

I see this post worked so now I'm REALLY lost... anybody want an email and perhaps you could remove whatever is causing the failure and post the reply for me.
