TCP Mapping Build 3480

Postby JR Africa » Feb 02 13 10:44 pm

I am currently running 7.2.6.3449. Decided to action an upgrade to build 3480 today and all my TCP Mappings broke. Rolled back and the mappings were working again.

Any ideas guys ?

Hi

thanks for reporting. I've just looked through the code changes. We re-orgnanised a little when we added the event for connect failure.

Is the TCP mapping proxy set to connect via an upstream proxy? Are the mapping destinations specified as IP addresses or names?

Regards

Hi Adrien

No upstream. It is running on service port 41543 set to intercept same port, with a specific mapping to 10.0.0.5:1433. Default Mapping/Mapping enabled = False.

Basically an intercept with a redirect. Policy in place to check for locale, other than that nothing.

Hi

I found the problem and have fixed it. We'll release the fix today.

Turned out it only affected intercepted connections to the TCP mapping proxy where there was a specific mapping, so we missed that case in testing sorry.
